You can’t get it much taller than this. Cats that love to climb will have the time of their life with Friscos heavy-duty cat tower. It measures 106 inches (floor-to-ceiling) and can be manually adjusted to go from floor to ceiling. There are three lookout posts to scale, and a sisal-wrapped bottom part where your kitty can sharpen its nails.

The padded bed perch is the perfect place for your talented climber to rest their head during those cat naps. This tower is extremely sturdy once you secure it to your ceiling with the supplied tension rod.

2. Cat Craft Floor-to-Ceiling Carpet Cat Tree

What we liked:

  • Adjustable tension rod for securing to ceilings
  • Very easy to assemble
  • Price tag

What we didn’t like:

  • It’s not as sturdy and durable as the other tall trees we tested

Review:
Being one of the cheaper floor-to-ceiling trees in our test, Cat Craft’s tall tree held up very well against the others. The old addage is true though; you get what you pay for.

This tree is easy to assemble and looks good enough, but you definitely need to anchor it to a wall in order to stabilize the whole structure. If you don’t mind doing a bit of drilling and mounting in your wall, this is a very good option for those who are on a tight budget.

3. Yaheetech 79-inch Plush Cat Tree & Condo

What we liked:

  • Room for 3 adult cats. Ideal for multi-cat family
  • 3 perches and 2 fluffy condos
  • Includes an activity center with nine different posts
  • Available in various colors
  • Eco-friendly materials

What we didn’t like:

  • Needs to be attached to a wall to prevent wobbling
  • Perches at the top are on the small side

Review:
While not a full floor-to-ceiling tree as the others, this extra tall cat tree from Yaheetech is still an impressive tower and an excellent choice for families with multiple cats. It allows up to 3 adult cats to lounge, scratch, play and climb at the same time. We were able to assemble the entire thing in just over an hour, which was quite astounding when you consider the size of the thing.

Is it suited to very large cats? According to Chewy, the perch can hold up to 15 pounds, and the condo can hold up to 26.5 pounds, which should be more than enough for two adult cats. We did find the top perches to be a little small for larger cats, so keep that in mind.
